On Relationship between Free Volume andModulus of Polymer Matrix

摘要 选用高密度树脂制备高模量基体,采用正电子湮没技术(PALS),测试了自由体积的尺寸及浓度,研究了基体密度与拉伸模量、压缩模量、自由体积尺寸及浓度之间的关系。结果表明,高密度树脂由于自由体积小,使固化体系具有高模量。 Raising the modulus of elasticity is very desirable for making polymer matrix more useful in engineering applications. High modulus matrix with high-density resin and the data concerning the relationship between free volume and modulus of high modulus matrix were prepared with positron annihilation technique. The experimental work was presented and the results were discussed. The results show the influence of different curing agents on two free volume parameters τ3/ns and I3/% and on tensile modulus and the influence of different contents of curing agent on free volume parameters and tensile modulus. It is shown that high-density resin, which has a small free volume, can achieve high tensile modulus of elasticity after cured.
