摘要
依据文献计量学原理，对1990～1999年间《地理科学》载文作者群进行了统计、分析，从中揭示了该刊作者群的时空分布特点及作者所属系统的分布规律，确定了作为该刊核心作者的数量，对作者的合作率、论文单元薯名数作了统计分析。同时从作者研究的角度肯定了该刊作为本学科核心期刊的合理性，这些分析可对地理学的队伍建设及该刊的发展提供可参考的依据。
According to the principles of biblionetrics, this article investigates the author group of 'Scientia Geo-graphica Sinica' from l990 to 1999, using statistical data. The result reveals the current situtation in the field ofgeography science in China, the distribution characteristics of the authors' institutions, the number and propor-tion of the core-authors of this journal, the authors' cooperation proportion and the number of unit articles sur-veyed. The authors also confirm the rationality of this journal being the core journal in this area and hope thatthe article may provide reference data for the development of this journal and this area as well.
