摘要
近20年来,对害虫防治提出了害虫综合治理(IPM)、全部种群治理(TPM)、大面积种群治理(APM)和合理害虫治理(RPM)等策略,这些策略代表了害虫防治领域里各种不同的学说。实践表明,IPM未必是完美无缺、放之四海而皆准的策略;TPM还不是目前多数害虫所宜采取的策略,但很可能是未来的害虫防治策略;APM是IPM和TPM两个防治策略的折衷办法。目前我国大面积治理森林害虫的实践,在一些原则上采用了IPM的做法,而在具体防治方法上又偏重于TPM的技术,基本思路符合APM的对策,RPM是针对APM的不足而改进的策略。
In recent twenty years, some strategies of controlling insect pests havebeen put forward, such as the Integrated Pest Management (IPM), Total Popula-tion Management (TPM), Areawide Population Management (APM) and Ra-tional Pest Management (RPM), which represent various views in the field of pestcontrol. The government has organized three departments of teaching, scientific re-search and production to make integrated management of pine caterpillar. Throughten year tests, we have obtained an effective method of controlling pinecaterpillar, theory and experiences of which have been systematically summarized,with the work of pine caterpillar control further developed. The practical manage-ment of pine caterpillar in the frequent disaster area shows that the theory of anAreawide Pest Management (PAM) suits the actual situation of the forests inChina. The strategy is to eradicate the pest as throughly as possible, and that the pest population could be reduced to a lower level. This strategy has taken intodecount the economic benefits in the current year and in the years tocome. Finally, the realization of a Total Population Management (TPM) will ne-ed the efforts of several generations of people. Another rational strategy is to makethe chemical control become again the main way of controlling pine caterpillar. Thepyrethroids have become the most economic, effective, reliable insecticides of con-trolling pine caterpillar. The benzoylphenol urea is a desirable nonbiocidal agent incontrolling pine caterpillar.
