Notable features of EIMS fragmentation for N,N′ _ diacetyl succinic dihydrazides, N,N′ _ diacetyl sebacic dihydrazides,four N,N′ _ diacyl glutaric dihydrazides and four N,N′ _ diacyl adipic dihydrazides are summarized. Acyl is still propionyl, hexanoyl, octanoyl, lauroyl or palmitoyl. For all of over ten compounds, the main fragments are from α _ cleavage of carbonyl group and its rearrangement α _ cleavages. The base peak ion H2NNHCO(CH2)nC O+together with RCONHNHCO(CH2)n C O+ and RCONHN+H3 form their MS characteristic peaks.
