摘要
“新城市主义”是基于对郊区蔓延的反思 ,90年代在美国兴起的一个城市设计流派。本文介绍了新城市主义的主要设计思想 ,总结了其优点与不足 。
New Urbanism is a trend of urban design rising in 90's in USA, which is based on the rethinking of suburban sprawl. This article introduces the main principles of New Urbanism, and generalizes the merits and shortages of it. Also the article analyzes the meaning of referring New Urbanism to resolve urban sprawl and development of suburb in China.
