Oilfield development achievements of Shengli petroliferous area during the 'ninth five year plan' are summarized. A complete techniques for the development of complex reservoirs are introduced. The present development situation for the area is analyzed. Then the countermeasures for stabilizing oil production during the 'tenth five year plan' are proposed.
