Described are the grand occasion of 7th International Railway Heavy Haul Transport Conference, as well as the latest development and present conditions of railway heavy haul transport technologies in various countries.The latest research fields in the following aspects are mainly described:railway heavy haul cars,bogies,vehicle/rail interaction,wheel rail wear, safety monitoring system for car operation, reliability and fatigue analysis of key parts and components of cars, maintenance and repair, and the application of Internet in railway heavy haul.
