摘要
从海南琼海官塘温泉（70℃～90℃）分离到八株菌,均为革兰氏阳性菌,具芽孢,最高生长温度为90℃。经过生理生化鉴定,初步证实是具有嗜热脂肪芽孢杆菌（Bacillusstearothermphilus）特征的菌株。
Eight strains of extreme thermophilic bacteria belonging to the Bacillus Stearothermophilies have been located and identified in the hot springs of Qionghai.The cells are gram-positive and sporulated with the temperature for growth being between 50℃ and 90℃.
