摘要
本文对我国及世界近半个世纪以来高等教育的发展情况做了概略调查，对工业经济时代的 竞争以及知识经济时代的发展特点做了扼要的分析，在此基础上 阐明了知识经济与高等教育之间内在联系和相关性，指出在工业经济向知识经济转变 的历史时期，中国高等教育所肩负的新的历史使命。
： The article has made an investigation on the outline of the development of hig er education about half century,and studied on the characeistics of competi tion of the times of industrial economy and,on the base,the author explainsd the in tenal relationship between knowledge economy and higher education,then points o u t the tustorical tards and development strategy of China's higher educati on on the historical change from industrial economy to knowledge economy.
