摘要
文章综合介绍了国内外学术期刊网络化的趋势,参照欧美发达国家网络期刊的发展情况及其认识,强调学术期刊的网络化是一种创新。数字媒介形式的学术刊物,除了具有传统学术刊物的特质外,更应是一种学术信息传递方法的创新过程,是学术信息数字化传递后的重新组合。文章针对我国实际情况,就解决国内网络学术期刊发展及其利用中所遇到的主要问题,建议要在建立学术平台的同时,尽早建立网络学术刊物的评价体系,尽快探索自己的生存空间。
The networking of academic journals refers to the web-based distribution or publication of academic journals. The function of networking has increasingly become a very important part of information exchange. The present study offers a broad overview of the networking of academic journals both in China and abroad. Based on an investigation of the development of the networking of academic journals in the United States and European countries, this study argues that web-based academic journals, in addition to the characteristics enjoyed by traditional paper-based journals, not only embody a revolutionary process of transmitting and sharing information, but also create possibilities for reconstructing information when information is translated and processed into the digitalized medium. In view of the actual situation in China and of the main problems encountered in the course of development of the networking of academic journals in China, the paper also suggests that an academic platform be built, a system for evaluating the networking of academic journals be established, and an understanding of the critical space for academic presence in this new realm of networking be explored as quickly as possible.
