通过对“死”和“性”委婉语的对比研究，以揭示英汉语言的文化内涵：宗教信仰、历史传统、价值取向、民族特征、社会因素、人类文明，等等。
This paper presents,by contrastive study of the euphemism death and sex,the cultural implication of Chinese and English language:religious belief,historical tradition,value view,national character,social factor,human being civilization,etc..
