摘要
文章针对当前高等学校教学、科研以及社会上许多部门与单位越来越需要利用外文文献的趋势，分析了长期来图书馆外文文献馆藏薄弱的原因，提出若干加速建设开发与利用外文文献信息资源的设想。
In view of the present trend of teaching and scientific research in the institution of higher learning, and of the fact that some social de-partments and units have a tendency to use more and more foreign language documents, this article analyzes the causes of long - term weak library collection of foreign language documents, and advamces several suggestions to quicken the construction and use of foreign language documents.
