在自制的仪器上,进行了铌与硫的激光等离子体反应并记录了通过反应生成的正负离子的质谱。在反应生成的Nb_nS_m^+(n=1—6)中凡满足n<4,m=n+1;4≤n≤5,m=n+2;n=6,m=n+4的正离子均显示出相当突出的信号强度,其中的簇离子可能具有同[Mo_3S_4]^(4+)中的Mo_3S_3簇环相类似的类芳香性。在负离子质谱中也能观察到类似系列的Nb_nS_m^-,只是它们中的硫原子数均比相应的正离子多了4个,因而基本上实现了配位饱和。
Laser plasma reactions between niobium and sulfur were carried out in a home-made instrument and the mass spectra of positive and negative ions in the reaction products were recorded. Of all the NbnSm+(n = l -6) produced in the reactions, the positive ions with n<4, m = n + 1; 4 ≤n≤5, m=m+2( n = 6, m=n + 4 have rather high intensities. It is suggested that some of these cluster cations may also contain cluster rings with quasi-aromaticity like what has beenpro-posed for the [Mo3S3]6+ cluster ring in [Mo3S4]4+ cluster core. Negative NbnSm- ions with similar features have also been observed in the negative ion mass spectrum, each containing four additional sulfur atoms. Coordinative saturation of these cluster anions may have therefore been realized in these negative ions.
