摘要
在科学技术的时代,人类精神生活的“单向度化”带给人极大的困惑,现代人对尊严、公正和有意义的生活的渴望实际上比任何时代都强烈。这反映在当代学术对所谓“现代性”的批判(被统称为“后现代批判”)反思中,表面上看来这是对现代文化的“俗性”之性质的不满,实际上却深刻地反映了现代人对超越的精神生活的强烈追求,表现出的是对当代大行其道的科学理性用“求真”(“实然”)、用“工具”遮蔽了“求善”、淡化了“意义”的神性之向度(“应然”)的高度警惕。
The mono-dimension of the human spiritual life greatly puzzles human beings in the age of science and technology. People in modern times have a much stronger desire for dignity, fairness, and meaningful life than ever before. This has been reflected in the contemporary academic criticism on so-called Modernity (usually called Postmodernist criticism). On the surface, it is an expression of dissatisfaction with 'the poor taste' of modern culture, but, in essence, it is a strong demonstration of modern people's intense pursuit of super spiritual life. It is also an indication of their great alertness to the 'being true'. the 'being perfect' under the cover of 'tools' and to the idolization of faded 'significance' of the scientific rationality, so popular in the contemporary age.
