The development of the new ground weave constructions by use of the electronically controlled rotary dobby 2685 has been introduced. The advantages for the user are: quick change of weave construction within a few minutes, new ranges of application for pile weave constructions concerning the possible density, saving of warp material results in cost reductions up to 51 129 19 Euro per year, new possibilities of carpet back design either similar to tied carpets or carpets with more jute like characteristics.
