摘要
存储域网络SAN(Storage Area Network)是为了满足Internet发展需要而兴起的一门新技术,由高速网络通道连接起来储池组成,SAN能够实现服务器之间以及外部或者独立的存储设备之间的高速可靠访问。本文从SAN的概念出发,系统地分存储域网络的结构及特点,研究了SAN技术的实现和管理软件功能,并通过实例说明了SAN技术的实际应用。
Storage Area Network(SAN) is a new technology developed for Internet, which consists of storage pools connected with fast network channels. It can complete fast visiting between servers and extern computers or autonomous storage devices. This paper analyses the concept and structure and characteristics of SAN, and the completion and the function of manager software of SAN are discussed. Finally, an application of SAN is explained.
