摘要
针对塑料光纤损耗较大的缺点 ,分析了塑料光纤的各种损耗因素 .对聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)塑料光纤中CH谐波振动吸收损耗波谱进行了模拟计算 ,结合瑞利散射损耗、电子转移吸收损耗的分析与定量计算 ,首次模拟出PMMA塑料光纤本征损耗的波谱图 ,并计算出不同波长下PMMA塑料光纤的本征损耗 ,模拟结果与资料报道的实验数据一致 .这为降低塑料光纤损耗的研究提供了重要的理论依据 .
In the light of that the most disadvantage of plastic optical fiber (POF) was larger absorption loss, different kinds of loss factors were analyzed. Light absorption loss due to CH high harmonics vibrations in PMMA POF was calculated and simulated. And the Rayleigh scattering absorption loss and electronic transition absorption loss were quantitatively calculated. So intrinsic loss spectrum of PMMA POF was obtatined. The intrinsic absorption losses at different wavelengths were first calculated, and the results were consistent with measured data available in literature. It provided an important theoretical basis gist to reduce POF's loss.
