摘要
将图像在小波包最优基下展开 .利用小波包最优基极好的空间、尺度定位性 ,使得图像的小波包变换系数在小波变换域尽可能的集中 ,从而使在不降低压缩信号的视频质量情况下 ,进一步的提高图像压缩比成为可能 ,并给出试验验证 .
The image was expressed as a linear combination of a set of best bases of wavelet packet, the energy of expansion coefficients are concentrated in a small number of coefficients because of the good location properties of wavelet packet best bases. So it is possible to achieve high compression ratios without any losses of visual information of the compressed image. The experiment results show it's valid.
