摘要
该文在三次组团赴瑞士等西欧国家进行考察的基础上，试图从荆州与日内瓦两座城市的历史现状以及相互间的差异着手；着重探讨东西方城市发展的思想框架与模式，并从中寻找影响城市建设水平及其风格的主要因素，从而指导我们城市建设的实践。
