摘要
棘头梅童鱼 Collichthylueidus(Richard-son)属鲈形目、石首鱼科、梅童鱼属。沿海渔民把它与黑鳃梅童 Collichthy niveatus(Jordan & Starks)统称为梅童鱼,俗称大头梅童、圆头梅童。有人把它误称为梅子,其实梅童与梅子并非同物异名,后者应为大黄鱼、小黄鱼幼体的别称。棘头梅童鱼为近海常见的小型鱼类,肉质鲜美。
Collichthys lueidus is the common fish in small size in our offshore waters.Based on the data of 1981-1086,the paper analyzes the biological characteristics,the distribution and the status of resource of the fish,and the scientific utilizations of the resource are here in proposed.
