A Bibliometric Approach to the Research in the Discipline of Foreign Languages and Literature

摘要本文使用InCites数据库提供的指标体系,从科研生产力、影响力方面探讨国内10个机构"外国语言文学"学科学术成果的国际化表现,并与全球同行的研究成果进行比较,为相关管理者及外国语言文学领域的学者知己知彼、寻找差距、制定发展战略,提供决策参考。 This paper analyzed the academic research in the discipline of foreign languages and literature collected by InCites database from 2001 to 2012, upon the following index： web of science documents, times cited, cites per document （impact）, impact relative to subject area, and impact relative to institution, etc. The findings demonstrate the pathway of the development of the discipline of foreign languages and literature in China from a bibliometric perspective.
