Tb^(3+)/Sm^(3+)掺杂CaF_2微晶玻璃的结构和发光性质

Structure and Luminescence Properties of Tb^(3+)/Sm^(3+) Doped CaF_2 Glass-ceramics

摘要 采用传统熔融法制备Tb3+/Sm3+掺杂的SiO2-B2O3-Na2O-CaF2-NaF氟氧化物基质玻璃,通过热处理获得Tb3+/Sm3+共掺杂的CaF2的微晶玻璃.用差热分析(DTA)、X射线衍射图谱(XRD)、电子扫描电镜(SEM)和荧光光谱等对样品进行分析.XRD研究结果表明:基质玻璃经680℃热处理1 h后获得了Tb3+/Sm3+掺杂的CaF2的微晶玻璃,估算的CaF2晶粒尺寸为37 nm.发射光谱研究结果表明:由于Tb3+/Sm3+进入到低声子能量的CaF2微晶中,与基质玻璃相比微晶玻璃的发射特征峰强度明显增强.同时也证实Tb3+和Sm3+之间的能量转移过程及其Sm3+离子的自猝灭现象. Tb^3+/Sm^3+ doped oxyfluoride borosilicate glass with the molar composition SiO2-B2O3-Na2O-CaF2-NaF was synthesized by a traditional glass melting method.Glass ceramics containing CaF2 nanocrystals were prepared by heat treating.The samples were characterized by differential thermal analysis(DTA),X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscope(SEM) and fluorescence spectra.The results of XRD showed that glass ceramic containing CaF2 was obtained by heat treating the precursor glass at 680 ℃ for 1 h.The average crystallite size of CaF2 nanocrystal could be calculated as 37 nm.The luminescence spectra showed increased luminescent intensity was observed from glasses to glass ceramics,which was attributed to the precipitation of Tb^3+/Sm^3+ ions into the lower phonon energy CaF2 crystallites.Meanwhile,an energy transfer from Tb^3+ to Sm^3+ and the self-quenching effect of Sm^3+ ions were evidenced.
