摘要
西部地区占全国总面积的 57% ,人口约 2 7亿。从历史上看 ,西部地区曾是华夏文明的摇篮和中国社会经济的主要发祥地之一。只是到了近代 ,由于环境的变迁和海洋经济的发展 ,西部地区相对落后了。经过改革开放 2 0年的发展 ,西部地区已取得了一定的成绩 ,为大开发奠定了一定的经济基础。但西部开发要有创新观念 ,既要看到西部地区的开发优势 ,也要看到不容忽视的劣势条件。明确优势 ,正视问题 。
Western China makes up 57% of the country's total area with a population of 270,000,000.Historically,Western China was the cradle of Hua\|Xia civilization and one of the main birthplaces of China's ancient cultures.But owing to the environment changes and the development of ocean economy,Western China began to lag behind the Eastern China in modern times.Over the past twenty years of reform and opening up to the outside world,Western regions have gained certain achievements and laid a foundation for economic take\|off.However,we should have a creative ideology;we should not only see the advantages for the development of the Western regions but also take to mind the disadvantages.
