摘要
本文采用2003—2007年中国工业企业数据,分析全要素生产率与贸易自由化对企业就业的影响。在考虑企业的异质性后,本文发现:(1)无论是对出口企业还是内销型企业,企业全要素生产率的提高都会降低企业就业人数;(2)贸易自由化能够增加出口企业的就业,而贸易保护能够给内销型企业带来更多的就业机会;(3)对于劳动密集型出口企业和资本密集型内销企业,全要素生产率的提高能够增强贸易自由化对就业的影响,而对于资本密集型出口企业和劳动密集型内销企业,全要素生产率的提高则会减弱贸易自由化对就业的影响;(4)面对贸易自由化,企业需要一定的时间才能将就业人数调整到理想数量,并且劳动密集型企业的调整速度要高于资本密集型企业,内销企业调整速度高于出口企业。
This paper uses Chinese industrial enterprises database for the period 2003 -2007 to study how TFP and trade liberalization affect firm's employment. This research finds that: firstly, whether it is for export firms or domestic firms, the increase on total factor productivity will reduce employment; secondly, trade liberalization can increase employment of export firms, trade protection can be able to bring more job opportunities for domestic firms; thirdly, total factor productivity can enhance the impact of trade liberalization on employment for labor-intensive export firms and capital-intensive domestic firms, weaken the impact of trade liberalization on employment for capital-intensive export firms and labor-intensive domestic firms; finally, facing trade liberalization, firms will take some time to adjust employment to the ideal number, and the speed of adjustment for labor-intensive firms is faster than capital-intensive firms, domestic firms is faster than export firms.
