摘要
白头叶猴自从被谭邦杰发现并定名以及李致祥和马世来订正后,对其分类问题存在两种观点:1)白头叶猴是一个独立的种;2)白头叶猴是黑叶猴的一个亚种。基于对白头叶猴和黑叶猴的生态和行为学、食性、形态等比较,笔者认为将白头叶猴视为与黑叶猴亲缘关系相近的一个独立的种(姊妹种)或半种更妥。
There are two view - points on the taxonomy of the Presbytis francoisi leucocephalus after it was discovered and named by T'an Bangjie and reviewed by Li Zhixiang and ma Shilai which are: 1)the Presbytis francoisi leucocephalus must be an independent species, Presbytis leu-cocephslus, and 2)the Presbytis francoisi leucocephalus must be a subspecies of the francois' lan-gur, Presbytis francoisi leucocephalus. Based on the comparisons of ecology, behavior diet and morphology between the two forms of the langurs, it was concluded that it was better to regard the Presbytis francoisi leucocephalus as an independent species or semi-species closely related to the francois' langur (sibling-species), Presbytis leucocephalus.
