The process of producing ethanolamine by amination of oxirane was introduced. The typical production process abroad and its properties were described and compared with that inland. The disparities between inland and abroad were pointed out. The status of production and consumption of ethanolamine inland and abroad was introduced briefly, and the demands inland were forecasted. [
