摘要
认为"图书馆之友"在丰富图书馆的文献资源、改善服务设施、提高服务水平等方面发挥着重要作用。对美国高校图书馆"图书馆之友"的创建及功能、管理与宣传、开展的活动、实施的项目、接受捐赠的方式以及其会员进行分析,指出其对我国高校图书馆的启示:注重与馆外人士建立友好关系、组建"图书馆之友"、规范"图书馆之友"的管理、依托"图书馆之友"创新工作。
“stFriends of the Library” plays an important role on developing literature resources, improving services facilities, and improve service levels in libraries. This paper analyzed the creation and function, management and advocacy, activities, implementation of the project, and members of “Friends of the Library” in American university libraries. And it finally presented the enlightenment to our university libraries, including focusing on establishing a good relationship with people outside the library, forming “Friends of the Library”, standardizing the management of “Friends of the Library”, and relying on the“ Friends of the Library”to innovate services.
