摘要
19世纪末至20世纪30年代,中国的翻译文学蔚为大观。考察这四十余年文学翻译活动所演绎的翻译文化,发现其在翻译诗学与翻译规范等方面展现了历史性的变化——从译语中心到"信"的重构;从单一的译介模式到多种翻译模式共存;从意译到直译;从文言到欧化的白话等。翻译文化的历史嬗变,彰显了翻译活动与社会文化的互动关联。
From the 1890s to the 1930s, translated literature in China afforded a magnificent view. This paper, by investigating literary translations over these years, argues that translation culture created by them experienced historical changes in terms of translation poetics and norms, namely, from the target language centeredness to the restoration of ＂fidelity＂, from a single translation model to the multiple models, from free translation to literal translation, from classical Chinese to Europeanized modern Chinese, etc. The historical changes of translation culture reveal the interaction between translation activities and social culture
