摘要
本文介绍了自行设计研制的用于金属材料热变形的FR系列防护润滑剂的主要性能和应用。将这类润滑剂涂敷在热变形金属毛坯上,可以起到防护、润滑和绝热等作用。作者认为,FR系列防护润滑剂的高温粘度是一个重要的性能指标,只要控制其在金属材料的变形温度下形成液态摩擦条件,它就能够发挥润滑作用。试验结果表明,圆环试样墩粗法测定摩擦系数是优选与评定防护润滑剂的一种适用的好方法。
In order to reduce the consumption of metallic materials, the manufacturing work and to improve the quality of metal products and the service life of die, suitable protective lubricants for hot deformation under different temperature (400-120℃) , such as fine forging, hot extrusion and isothermal forging have been urgently needed. The FR series protective lubricants for the hot deformation of titanium alloy, superalloy and stainless steel were prepared using borosilicate glass as matrix, organosilicon acrylic acid resin as binder and the water as a solvent. The lubricants coated on the metal blank act for proofing, lubrication and thermal insulation. The high tempera- ture viscosity is an important index of property. Only if controlling the formation of liquid state friction under the deformation temperature of metal, it can act as lubricant. The suitable high temperature viscosity values of the FR series protective lubricants are as follows:
10-1000Pa·s for hot die forging;
10-60Pa·s for hot extrusion;
1500-3000Pa·s for isothermal forging.
Within these viscosity ranges, the lubricants have highest lubricating efficiency. When coated titanium alloy, superalloy and stainless steel were deformed, friction coefficient were smaller than that of uncoated samples.
