近年来,随着人们生活质量的提高,许多基础疾病的年轻化以及人们普遍寿命的延长,器质性ED,如高胆固醇血症、高血压、糖尿病、动脉粥样硬化等心血管病所占比例越来越高。阴茎勃起有着十分复杂的机制,是在神经、内分泌、及心理效应等综合调控下所产生的血流动力学改变的结果,
Objective: To research the correlation between hyperhomocysteinemia (HHcy) and erectile dys- function in rats. To analyze the pathogenesis of erectile dysfunction in HHcy and methylenetetrahydrofolate re- ductase (MTHFR) defects by measuring MTHFR content of HHcy rats. Methods: We selected three--month --old male pure Wistar rats with normal sexual function. These rats were randomly divided 30 rats into three groups, normal control group (A); high homocysteine model group (B) and folic acid and vitamin B12 treat- ment group (C) with 10 rats in each group. Rats in normal group were given normal feed. The remaining 20 rats were fed 3 % methionine for four weeks. After the detection of plasma homocysteine and APO experiments to confirm the success of the modeling rats that were randomized into group (B) and group (C). Two weeks later, the APO experiments were done that the homocysteine concentrations of blood plasma were detected and the MTHFR contents of the corpora cavernosa were measured. Results : ①The rat model of erectile dysfunction with HHcy was established. The erection frequencies of APO experiment were observed in the normal control group and model group respectively (Table - 1). ②The average erection frequencies of the normal control group, model group, folic acid and vitamin B12 treatment group of rals (P 〈 0.05), and it was statistically sig nificant. The concentration of plasma Hcy and the MTHFR contents of the corpora cavernosa were positive cor- related (P 〈 0.05) ; and it was statistically significant. ③Correlation analysis of R values about plasma Hcy and the erection frequency were done in the normal control group, model group, folic acid and vitamin B12 treatment group; were negative correlated with statistical significance. Conclusion: Folic acid and vitamin B12 could treat erectile dysfunction rats with HHcy because it increases the erection frequency and reduces the concentration of Hcy. Increasing the MTHFR content of the corpora eavernosa may be associated with HHcy in rats with erec tile dysfunction, and may become one of the indicators to measure erectile dysfunction. Folic acid and vitamin B12 treatment decrease not only the concentration of plasma Hey, but also the MTHFR content of the corpora cavernosa. Lowering the concentration of Hey or MTHFR can achieve therapeutic purposes on erectile dysfunc- tion.
