摘要
本文利用2003-2008年中国、巴西、智利等9个国家的平衡面板数据,考察了一国出口企业的扩展边际和集约边际的扩张对经济结构变动的影响,结果表明:出口企业集约边际的扩张有助于推动经济结构的转型;而出口企业扩展边际对经济结构不存在显著的影响。这说明,积极推动现有出口企业出口规模的扩张、降低贸易壁垒、拓展贸易关系与渠道有利于贸易发展和经济结构转型;而提高企业生存率,降低企业进入、退出比率对于维持出口贸易的平稳发展和有效促进经济发展具有关键意义。
Using the cross-country panel data from 2003 to 2008, this paper analyzed the effects of exporter＇ s intensive margin and extensive margin on structural change. We found that the expansion of exporter＇s intensive margin could have a significant effect on structural transformation and the expansion of exporter＇ s extensive margin did not have. This means that in order to have rea- sonable structural transformation and trade development, we should take measures to promote the ex- isting exporter＇ s expansion, reduce trade barriers and build more relations with other eountr/es. Be- sides, improving exporters＇ survival rate, lowering exporters＇ entry and exist ratio is also important for economic development.
