基于CATIA的覆盖件修边刃口检测系统开发

Development of trimming edge detection system for automobile panel based on CATIA

摘要 基于CATIA平台,开发了汽车覆盖件修边刃口检测系统TCW(TrimConditionWizard)。TCW系统将刃口角度转换为线段特征,绘制在修边型面法向上,利用CATIA可视化显示技术和特征机制,实现刃口角度显示和查询功能;采用CATIA自定义特征技术,实现产品设计到刃口角度显示的同步更新。通过具体实例,验证了系统的可行性与有效性。 TCW (Trim Condition Wizard) system of trimming edge detection was developed based on CATIA for automotive pan- el. Taking advantage of the visual display technology and feature mechanisms of CATIA, the system converted the cutting edge angle to the line feature, created it on normal direction of the trimming surface, and realized edge angle display and query func- tions. It realized the synchronous update of the product design to cutting edge angle display by making use of the CATIA user-de- fined features. The feasibility and availability of the system were verified by practical cases.
