Numerical Solution for Elastic Point Contact Problem and its Application

摘要 The point contact between the two elastic bodies is a classical elastic mechanics contact problem, some numerical solution methods for elastic point contact problem have been reported, the common drawback for these methods is slow solution speed and big error. The paper takes contacts between full circle arc crowned cylindrical roller with inner, outer race raceways as an example, and adopts some countermeasures in solving contact geometry parameters, so accuracy of numerical solution results may been ensureed.
