摘要
论文在测度居民收入分配差距和产业结构升级的基础上,通过建立收入分配影响产业结构升级的计量经济模型,利用省级面板数据和HAC-GMM、SYS-GMM方法,深入探讨了居民收入分配对产业结构升级的影响。结果表明,居民收入差距扩大严重阻碍了我国的产业结构升级,而且这种影响在时间上没有减弱的趋势,在各地区之间呈U型分布,即东部和西部更高,中部相对较低。同时,金融深化也是促进各地区产业结构升级的重要因素。因此本文认为,政府在制定产业结构升级的政策时,应通过缩小居民收入差距、促进金融发展来推动产业结构升级,而且政策实施的力度和方向应根据不同地区的经济发展和居民收入分配状况而有所区别。
The upgrading of industrial structure is currently a key issue in China, however, the effects of income distribution on upgrading of industrial structure was seldom studied in the literature. In this paper, we develop a new measurement of industrial structure and specify a fixed effect model to explore the relation- ship between income distribution and the upgrading of industrial structure. The results showed that the poor distribution heavily impeded the upgrading of industrial structure. Furthermore, the impact is characterized by a steady increase during 1988 - 2010 and a U - shaped pattern among different region. Our analysis suggests that the government should pay more attention on redistribution and financial development, which would be beneficial to the upgrading of industrial structure. Moreover, the policy should be different among different regions according to the economic development and income distribution.
