This research adopts simple method of activated sludge, the use of toxic heavy metals sensitive dehydrogenase activity and more close to the actual situation of the activated sludge oxygen consumption rate as activated sludge microbial poisoning evaluation index, lead, mercury, copper, zinc, cr (1ll) five kinds of heavy metals in microbial activity of activated sludge. Research results show that the five kinds of heavy metals in microbial activity of activated sludge were inhibited, when heavy metal concentrations reach 45mg/L, five metals of organic matter degradation ability of activated sludge inhibition rate reached by 45.52 and 50.44 %, 61.51%, 27.94 %, 26.19 %, Activated sludge dehydrogenase activity to restrain 62.49 % 82.3 %, 82.43 %, 79.17 %, 60.41%, 62.39 %. Five kinds of activated sludge of toxic heavy size; copper 〉 〉 〉 〉 mercury lead zinc chrome.
