摘要
中非各领域合作持续深入,孔子学院在非洲也得到迅速扩展,并呈现良好的发展势头。作为一种语言文化外交方式,孔子学院所倡导的语言学习与文化交流增进了中非之间相互了解,提高了中国在非文化影响力。通过对非洲4所孔子学院的调研发现,非洲学生对孔子学院教学满意度较高;对中国国家形象和中非关系的评价积极正面。但他们对中国、中国文化和中非关系的认知还不够深入。非洲孔子学院在管理、基础设施、师资和教材等方面遇到一些问题和挑战,限制了其语言文化外交功能的有效发挥。为促进非洲孔子学院的长期发展,中国政府需制定孔子学院发展的长期战略规划;建立在非洲语言文化外交的综合路径;结合非洲本土文化特点,实现跨文化交流;充分利用大众传媒和信息技术,提高孔子学院的语言文化外交功能。
With the ongoing in depth cooperation between China and in various fields, Confucius Institutes in Africa have expanded quickly and Africa gained momentum of development. With the aim of Chinese language learning and cultural exchange, Confucius Institutes have promoted mutual understanding between China and African, and have enhanced China＇ s cultural influence in Africa. Based on the empirical data from the investigation of four African Confucius Institutes, the analysis reveals that the students are satisfied with their study at Confucius Institutes. They have a positive attitude towards China＇s image and China Africa relation. However, their understanding of China, Chinese culture and ChinaAfrica relationship is still in primary stage. African Confucius Institutes have encountered some problems and challenges in the aspects of management, infrastructure, teacher resources and teaching materials, which restrict the function of Confucius Institutes as a tool of Chinese cultural diplomacy. The paper puts forward some proposals for the sustainable development of African Confucius Institutes. Among these are the formulation of long term strategic plan of Confucius Institutes; establishment of multi channels of cultural diplomacy in Africa; implement of cross cultural dialogue and utilization of the mass media and information technology
