摘要
全球化与知识经济的来临使马来西亚的经济发展陷入窘境,因此,马来西亚政府以改革职业教育与培训为突破口,藉由改善职业教育形象、改革中等职业教育学制、整合职业教育与培训系统、制定并实施职业技能标准、开发高效师资和扩大国家双元培训系统等措施,提升人力资源实力以振兴经济,进而跻身"高等收入"国家行列。
The explosion of globalization and the emergence of knowledge-based economy have caused economic issues in Malaysia. The country necessitates a new approach to propel the economy into the next level of high growth. One of the strategies is to ensure skilled and quality human resources that meet the global market needs. In line with this, the country reforms its vocational education and training by improving the image of vocational education, as well as by reconstructing the secondary vocational education system. Malaysia integrates the existing vocational education and training systems, establishes and implements national occupational skills standard, develops highly-efficient instructors, as well as expands national dual training system.
