摘要
近五年来,Internet得到了飞速的发展,特别是向多媒体传输的实用化更迈进了一步。本文主要论述了在网络之间传输多媒体信息的一些基本概念和技术,着重讨论了实时运输协议RTP的主要技术内容及原型实现。
In the last five years, the Internet has dramatically changed from an email and file transfer based on academic networks to a commercial network,with exponential growth and new services emerging. This paper describes some technical foundations of the new real-time multimedia services, where a realtime transport protocol (RTP) and its prototype implementation are focused on.
