摘要
理想主义与犬儒主义的"辩证法"为理解当代中国人精神生活的嬗变、诊断和医治当代中国人精神生活的危机提供了一个重要的分析框架。近代以来,种种高调的理想主义话语层出不穷,它们作为"现代性元叙事",试图为中国现代性建构提供规范性基础和价值理想。然而,在历史发展过程中,高调的理想主义却转变为嘲笑理想的犬儒主义,犬儒主义已成为今天中国人精神生活中不可忽视的病症。高调的理想主义由于其自身所具有的抽象性与专断性,决定了它包含着转化为犬儒主义的因子。要消解犬儒主义,一个重要前提是终结作为元叙事的理想主义,重新确定理想主义的真实位置,一方面,使理想回归于每一个真实的生命个体,另一方面,社会公共生活必须在"责任伦理"与"社会正义"价值的规范下为每个真实的个体追求和实现其梦想提供保障。二者相互支撑,为每个人追求和实现自己梦想创造真实的条件。只有这样,真实的精神信念才有可能获得坚实的地基,犬儒主义才有可能被真实而非堂皇却虚假的理想主义所消解。
Abstract： The ＂dialectics＂ of idealism and cynicism has provided an important analytical framework for understanding the changing mind of contemporary Chinese and for curing the crisis of it. In modern times, many a fine-sounding idealist discourse appear to be ＂modern meta-narration＂, and tried to provide normative foundation and ideals of value for China＇s construction of modernity. However, in the historical process, the fine-sounding idealism turns to be a cynicism teasing at ideals, and cynicism has become a sickness which could not be neglected. It is important to re-establish the actual position of idealism in order to dissolve cynicism. On one hand, the ideal is to be returned to every true life of individuals, while, on the other hand, the public social life must, under the norms of the value of ＂ethics of responsibility＂ and ＂social justice＂, provide a guarantee for individual persuasion to realize their dreams. The mutual support of these two will create the true condition for such persuasion and realization of individuals, and only in this way, the genuine mind of belief can acquire a sound foundation, and the cynicism can be dissolved by a true idealism.
