Inverse Emulsion Polymerization of Acrylamide in the Presence of a Functional Monomer

摘要 采用过硫酸铵 (NH4 ) 2 S2 O8为引发剂 ,失水山梨醇酐单油酸酯 (Span -80 )为乳化剂 ,研究了丙烯酰胺 (AM )与2 -丙烯酰胺基 -2 -甲基丙磺酸钠 (SAMPS)反相乳液聚合的反应动力学。得到如下动力学表达式 :Rp∝ [(NH4 ) 2 S2 O8]0 .4 8[SAMPS]0 .62 [AM ]1.18[Span -80 ]- 0 .70聚合反应起始阶段和自动加速阶段的活化能分别为 55kJ·mol- 1和 32kJ·mol- 1。讨论了引发与成核机理。 The inverse emulsion polymerization of acrylamide (AM) initiated by potassium persulfate was carried out in the presence of sodium 2 acrylamide 2 methyl propane sulfite(SAMPS).The kinetics of the inverse emulsion polymerization was studied and the effects of temperature,concentration of comonomer,initiator and emulsifier on the rate of polymerization were investigated in detail.The kinetics equation obtained is R_p∝(NH_4)_2S_2O_8~0.48SAMPS^0.62AM^1.18Span-80^-0.70,and the activity energies of the initiation and progression step are 55 kJ·mol^-1 and 32 kJ·mol^-1 respectively.These results suggest that the comonomer SAMPS plays an important role in the initiation step.The mechanisms of initiation and nucleation are discussed.
