摘要
信息技术正改变着人们的生活方式,信息素养成为现代社会公民必备的素质,提高老年读者信息素养直接关系到老年读者的生活质量和社会和谐。文章介绍美国、英国、加拿大、日本等发达国家公共图书馆在老年读者信息服务领域的政策法规,分析国内外公共图书馆老年读者计算机网络知识培训案例,提出加强法律规范建设、打造高素质的老年读者信息服务队伍、建设人性化的服务设施、争取社会各界支持、加强对公共图书馆服务宣传及开展多种形式的老年读者培训等建议。
In the twenty-first century, information technology is changing the way people live; information literacy has become an essential quality of the citizens of modern society. To improve the information literacy of seniors is directly related to the quality of their lives and social harmony. This article introduces the policies and regulations of information services concerning senior readers in public libraries of the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan and other developed countries; analyses the computer and internet training services for senior users in those libraries; and suggests improving relevant laws and regulations, creating high-quality information services team for seniors, providing user-friendly facilities, trying to win support from the society, stepping up the publicity of public library service, carrying out senior training programs of various kinds and so forth.
