摘要
专业图书馆主要是满足特定需要而建立起来的文献资料储藏单位,一般出现在各种专业化的单位和部门中,保证工作人员可以及时快速的掌握最新的技术信息和专业资讯。不同于公共的大型综合图书馆,小型的科技类图书馆一般都有自己的固定受众人群,因此,对于资料的要求也比较具体,这就需要这一类图书馆的管理者要充分了解本单位的具体需求,有针对性的进行资料的收集和整理工作,结合自己多年的小型专业化图书馆管理经验,针对这一类图书馆的管理工作笔者总结了自己的思考。
Special library is a storage unit of document literature intended for specific needs, which is usually established in all kinds of professional organizations and departments to facilitate personnel to timely get hold of latest technical and professional information. Unlike comprehensive public libraries, small scale technological libraries often enjoy regular visitors and, as a con- sequence, needs more specialized provision of data. This would require management to have thorongh understanding about what readers want and to correspondingly collect and arrange data. Based on the accumulatlon of years＇ management experience of small scale special library of the writer＇s, the paper put forward some manage^nent ideas about such kind of library.
