A is a newly developed fine quality indica CMS line derived from the variant plant of the existing CMS line and its maintainer line You Ⅰ A/B with the cytoplasm of Indonesia Paddy No.6. Its sterility is complete with 100% sterile plants, 100% seed sterility and more than 99.8% pollen sterility. It is characteristic of fine grain quality, good plant type, high outcrossing rate and good combining ability. Its F 1 hybrids show both high yield potential and good grain quality .
