科学计量学之父普赖斯对世界和中国的影响——纪念普赖斯逝世30周年被引量：7

Influence of Derek Price as the Father of Scientometrics in the World and China:Commemorating of Derek Price's 30th Anniversary of the Death

摘要 2013年9月3日,是科学计量学之父普赖斯逝世30周年纪念日。普赖斯在科学史、科学学、科学计量学及科学引文网络领域成就卓著。以WoS收录的普赖斯论文和引用其论著的文献为数据来源,运用多视角引文网络分析的CiteSpace可视化技术,对普赖斯的学术成果及其国际影响进行分析,展现出普赖斯广泛的研究兴趣和不倦的探索精神,其影响范围广阔而持久,辞世后30年间引用仍居高不下,彰显了其理论的可发展性、高度的实践性以及学术的永久魅力。普赖斯在中国科学计量学、科学史、科学学及科学社会学等领域亦有广泛的影响。但无论是国内还是国外,学术界对普赖斯的科学学理论著作与贡献研究仍然较为薄弱,应当引起足够的重视。 September 3, 2013, was the 30th anniversary of the death of Price as the father of scientometrics Price has remarkable achievements in history of science, science of science, scientometrics and science citation net-work. We take the papers written by Price and their citing papers which were indexed in WoS as the data source, then analyze his academic achievements and international impacts by CiteSpace. The results exhibit that Price has extensive research interests and tireless exploration spirit. His publications kept high citation in 30 years after his death, which highlights the expansibility, practicality and permanent academic charm of his theory. Howev- er, both in the world and China, the research on Price＇s theory works and his academic attributes to science of science is relatively weak, and should be taken seriously.
