摘要
中国人类学学派及其生成的社会和文化背景不可避免地形成地方性知识和地方性经验,地方性的民族志经验与建构普世性的理论范式之间的张力是大多数非西方人类学学科或者学派都面临的问题。《乡村人类学》一书正致力于这种普遍性的理论范式的梳理和建构,从而使得中国的乡村人类学不至于沦落为以西方为主位的人类学的一种补充形式。可以说,乡村人类学所试图建构的是一种非西方的理论范式,从而将中国经验,认知体系以及话语体系纳入一个理论框架内。在乡村这一区域所进行的研究以及获得的地方性民族志经验表明,文化价值体系不能脱离社会实践语境,地方性知识应该也必须构成经验的反思的基础和前提,具有这一文化自觉意识的乡村人类学才不至于沦为西学的一种补充形式。
It is inevitable for school of Chinese anthropology and its social and cultural backgrounds to form knowledge and experience with locality. What most non--western anthro- pological discipline or school is facing now is the tension between local ethnographic experience and construction of a universal theoretical paradigm. Rural Anthropology is committed to com- bing and constructing such universal theoretical paradigm, not making therefore itself reduced to be a supplementary form taking western anthropology as the main position. Thus it can be said that what Rural Anthropology attempts to build is a non--western theoretical paradigm, which puts China's experience,cognitive system,and discourse system into a theoretical frame- work. The research conducted in rural area and the local ethnographic experience gained there shows that the system of cultural value cannot be separated from context of social practice; local knowledge should and also must form a basis and premise for reflection on experience; and only with this cultural self--consciousness,rural anthropology is not reduced to be a sup- plementary form to western one.
