摘要
利用直读光谱仪、维氏硬度仪、光学显微镜、SEM等手段,对人体主股骨接骨板断裂现象进行失效分析。结果表明,开裂的TA3工业纯钛材料质量正常,其性能符合技术要求。断裂的接骨板基体表面存在点蚀坑,点蚀坑中萌生出大量微裂纹。远离断口的基体表面存在点蚀坑,和近断口处特征相似,但无微裂纹。这可能是点蚀坑加剧了应力集中程度诱发了微裂纹的产生,最后导致疲劳断裂。
The failure of the fracture of a human master femur bone connection plate has been ana- lyzed by means of optical emission spectrometer, Vickers hardness tester, optical microscope and scanning electron microscope (SEM). Experimental results and analyses demonstrate that the quali- ty of the fractured material is qualified and meets the performance requirements. Some corrosion pits were found on the cracked substrate surface of the bone connection plate. A number of micro- cracks were nucleated in the pits, and their propagation directions were be confirmed on the SEM morphologies of the fractured surface. Some corrosion pits were also found in the substrate surface that was far away from the cracked surface. The authors suggest that pits aggravated the degree of stress concentration and then induced micro-cracks, at last resulted in fatigue fracture.
