TThis paper analyses, by experiments and velocity measurement, the starting characteristics of hydraulic inlet, outlet and by-pass throttlt velocity modulation circuits that use the throttle valve and pressure-compensation flow control valve, and compares the properties of these three circuits, therefore provides basis for the design of the velocity modulation circuits.
