摘要
由于柑橘具有童期长、基因高度杂合、多胚性、远缘杂交不亲和及性器官败育等生物学特性,在很大程度上限制了传统育种的发展,基因工程育种能高效地对植物进行定向改良,将成为柑橘定向改良育种研究工作的重要手段。近十余年来,已成功利用农杆菌侵染法将外源基因转入到越来越多的柑橘品种,并建立柑橘成年态材料的遗传转化体系和标记基因删除系统。对近年来柑橘成年态材料转化、标记基因的更替和转基因柑橘安全性研究等方面的成果进行了总结,对柑橘基因工程育种在抗细菌病、真菌病、病毒病等生物逆境和干旱、低温等非生物逆境,以及在改善柑橘果实性状和生长性状等方面的研究进展进行了综述。
Citrus breeding with genetic engineering has become an important approach for citrus genetic improvement. Genetic improvement of citrus cultivar through conventional breeding approaches is re strained by its various biological limitations such as long juvenile period, high level of heterozygosity, sexual incompatibility, nucellar polyembryony and sterility. In recent decades, many transgenic citrus lines were obtained through Agrobacterium tumefaciens mediated genetic transformation. The adult plant and marker-free transformation systems were also successfully established. We summarize the progresses in the genetic transformation methods and related biological safety in citrus, and the advances of genetic manipulation in citrus for disease resistance (such as citrus canker, Huanglongbing, plant mycosis, Citrus tristeza virus, and Citrus psorosis virus), and improving the tolerance of abiotic stress, also agronomic and fruit quality traits.
