摘要
从一个新的视角解释人力资本积累与劳动收入份额的关系,通过理论分析表明,由于技能一资本的互补效应,人力资本积累会提升资本产出比,在资本和劳动互为替代的情形下,资本产出比的提升将恶化劳动收入份额。利用1995—2007年省际面板数据进行经验研究,确认了人力资本对劳动收入份额的抑制效应和资本产出比的中介传导作用。导致我国劳动收入份额下降的原因还包括政府干预、对外贸易和国企改制,而第三产业比例的提升和FDI的进入有利于提高劳动收入份额。
The paper analyzes the relation between human capital accumulation and labor income share. Our explanation differs from the existing literatures. A theoretical model is developed to show that human capital accumulation may affect capital-output ratio which can lower the labor income share when there is substitute relation between labor and capital. Empirical study is conducted with panel data set of 29 provinces from 1995 to 2007, and confirms that negative relation between human capital accumulation and labor income share and the mediation effect of the capital-output ratio. The reasons for the decline in the labor income share in China include government intervention, foreign trade and reform of state-owned enterprise. The improvement of the portion of tertiary industry and entry of FDI will enhance the labor income share.
