摘要
科学是什么 ?科学教育的目的是什么 ?怎样成功地实现科学教育的目的 ?这一直是教育家们所讨论的热门话题 ,也是科学教师 ,特别是物理教师所关心的问题。目前 ,美国的“2 0 61计划”再一次掀起了科学教育改革的狂潮。我们在思考有关科学教育的问题的同时 ,来看看一百多年前我们的前人对这些问题是怎么看的 ,或许你会从中发现许多相通之处并得到一些启发。本文通过对话的方式 ,介绍了美国“教育之父”———杜威在他的著作中所呈现的一些观点 :科学知识的定义 ,科学教育的目的 ,科学教育的过程 ,现有科学教育的误区以及对此的建议 ;同时结合当前科学教育的现状 。
What’s the science? What’s the goal of science education? How can we reach the goal? These are always the questions that the educators argue about, and that science teachers, especially physics teachers, concern about. Nowadays the project 2061 of US stirs up the tides of innovation of science education. When we think about the science education today, let s have a look at what our forefathers thought of these problems at the time of more than one hundred years ago. Perhaps you can find many siminaries from it and be enlightened by some views in it. This article shows for you some views of Dewey by the means of conversation, often cited as the leading Ameridan educator of the twentieth century. These views were showed in Dewey s writings, such as the definition of science, the goal of science education, the failur of morden science education and suggestion about this. Additionly it connects the views with today s situation of science education. This article offers us some referrence about science education and the innovation of science education.
